Out all day.

Being out all day is a good thing at the moment, although I do tend to forget just how bad it is in the house and consequently get stressed and a bit shouty when we finally get back home.  I must try to remind myself before unlocking the door what I will be facing and not to take my stress out on the girls.

This morning we had an LLL toddler meeting, and as usual M in particular didn't really want to go and as usual by the end didn't want to leave!  She happily played with N & S, although did have a bit of a grumble that they can't understand each other (they're French).  It doesn't seem to stop them playing with each other though.

We then went straight to Asfordby, well, not quite straight.  We discovered that the way we usually go had a road closure, so had to go a back way.  I did seriously consider turning round to come home and get Emily (that's our satnav), but that would have made us really rather late, so risked continuing and despite not knowing most of the roads at all, not only managed to get back onto the closed road past the closure, but had a reasonably good idea of where we were for most of the time (frequently when I feel like this it turns out that I'm completely wrong!).  I later also managed to get us home successfully a different way, so I was really rather proud of myself!

At Asfordby the theme was papercraft and K & M both had a go at various things, including some decopatch and origami.  Afterwards we went back to E, C, L & J's to meet their chickens and for a quick cuppa.

Finally, both K & M had been having a go at some of these logic puzzles.  They each got the hang of them pretty well and have done puzzles up to 5x5.
