We were supposed to being going to play and have tea with friends this afternoon, but unfortunately one of the girls (J, who is M's best friend), has come down with a sickness bug, so they had to cancel. This led to two things, firstly grevious disappointment and secondly sewing. Both K & M decided to make J a get well present, so they each got some felt out and M made a little stuffed teddy out of rectangles of felt and K made a stuffed cat's head using some tiger stripe patterned felt she'd bought a while back.
We're having solar panels installed at the moment, so K & I had a very brief conversation about different types of energy today too. Apart from that we played, no prizes for guessing, Phase 10.
Another quiet day tomorrow with just korfball after tea, I'll see if I can tempt the girls to do something other than Phase 10!
