After a very science-y day yesterday, today was very different. M woke up this morning obviously under the weather, with a nasty cough and cold and is very upset that at a result tomorrow's planned sleepover might have to be cancelled.
Yesterday evening our we had a delivery from across the road, two bin bags full of hand-me-downs, which is always exciting! It always used to be that K got everything first and then it went to M after K had grown out of it. Now though, K is taller than the younger of the two girls the clothes come from (Am, the girls' child-sitter and her sister, S), so some of the clothes go straight to M, which is very pleased about. So this morning we had a clothes trying on session.
This afternoon we watched a dvd of The Odd Life of Timothy Green, which had come from Lovefilm. We'd been booked in to see the film at the cinema as part of The National Youth Film Festival in the autumn, but when we arrived the cinema had had a leak and therefore had to close, so we didn't get to see it. We also continued with a couple more chapters of White Boots, so a very relaxed day compared to yesterday.
This evening K shut herself away to make a get well present for her sister, which I shall take a photo of tomorrow.
