A pretty quiet weekend

We've had mostly a quiet weekend, partly due to the weather and the stinky cold (now mostly fought off I hope!).  Yesterday M went to a birthday party, while K had a friend round to play and I curled up and watched rugby with tea while feeling sorry for myself!

Today when I got up both K and M were busy at the kitchen table, K doing some colouring and M doing something secret that I wasn't allowed to look at.  All became clear shortly when she gave this to A and me.

I read a couple more chapters of Harry Potter while they were working away and later in the afternoon a couple more while they did some knitting, M finishing off a scarf and K a toy blanket.  Then while K & M were having tea, I had my first solo attempt at making filled chocolates.  Not a bad effort if I do say so myself.

Although the idea that you should just be able to wipe rather than wash the moulds afterwards is some way off still...
