Logical.

Things have been ticking along here, with our various activities carrying on as usual although the school Easter holidays are the next two weeks in these parts.

We had Nana visiting for a few days over the Easter weekend, which was lovely and involved quite a lot of card and board games.  She also showed them what to do with some sweet peas that the girls had planted at a group a while ago, she showed them how to pinch out the top and helped repot them.  I am completely clueless about pretty much all things gardening, that's A's domain, but he said that he didn't know about sweet peas either, so it was great to have her here to pass on her knowledge.

In other news, a friend of posted a link to a logic puzzle on Facebook, which I got wrong.

Jack is looking at Anne, but Anne is looking at George. Jack is married, but George is not. Is a married person looking at an unmarried person?
            - Yes
            - No
            - Cannot be determined
(I'll put the answer in a comment in reply to this post).

Out of curiosity I shared with K (A & M had taken Nana back and were staying the night), who had a think about it and got it right.  On their return, I asked both A and M.  Only one of them got it right, which made it Children 2: Adults 0!

  1. The answer is Yes.
If Anne is married, then a married person is looking at an unmarried person (Anne is looking at George), and if she isn’t, a married person is looking at an unmarried person (Jack is looking at Anne).
