The autumnal (wet!) weather has continued. Yesterday we managed to get out between showers to collect things ready for the autumn themed session at Asfordby.
Today at Asfordby, M & I played conkers. K did an autumn theme sudoku. M & I had a go with leaves and a hammer to make prints. You need leaves (maple work well), watercolour paper, kitchen roll and a hammer, place a leaf on the paper, cover with a double layer of kitchen roll and hammer! The results are really beautiful, especially if you manage to keep the leaf very still.

Some people had fun with the things we'd collected yesterday, arranging them on the sheet we'd taken with us.

After engaging with a few of the activities there was some Harry Potter play for a while, but then something new seemed to occur and most of the older children became wolves. Very loud ones!
When we got home we watched a couple more episodes of Heidi and did some tidying and K continued hoovering, having started yesterday and sone some more this morning. Then there was just time for tea and Brownies.
