As I mentioned yesterday, this morning we, LLL Nottingham that is, had a coffee morning celebrating the launch of a book edited and published by my friend Teika. The coffee morning went really well, and M's fridge cake went down well too. I have now got my copy of the book, which I had always intended to buy to support both my friend and LLL. I had anticipated that I would read it, enjoy it, knowing Teika's high standards, and put it on my bookshelf. I was wrong. I am just over half way through it and already I know that this is a beautiful book that I will return to again and again. I have read it and smilied in recognition, had tears welling in my eyes, sighed at the beauty of it. This would make a lovely gift. Have a look and a listen consider buying it, not just to support a very worthy cause, but because it really is a wonderful anthology.
